How To Apply D&G HEMA Free Gel Polish

Step 1.  PREP the nails for gel polish application by filing and shaping the nails with a 180 grit nail file.  Using a cuticle pusher, push back the cuticles and remove any skin from the nail plate.  Using lint free wipes and your preferred nail cleanser or acetone, wipe and clean the nail plate free of any dirt, dust and oils.

Step 2.  BASE COAT Starting on one hand, apply a thin even layer of base coat to each nail and cure in an LED Lamp for 30 sec -1min or a UV Lamp for 2 mins.  Repeat on the other hand.

 - With every coat you apply, leave a tiny 1mm margin between the polish and the skin, and be sure to cap the free edge of the nail with the polish.

Step 3.  COLOUR Using the colour of your choice apply an even layer to each nail and cure in an LED lamp for 30 sec - 1min or a UV Lamp for 2mins.  Repeat this process to add a second coat of colour.

 -Some lighter colours may need 3 coats.

Step  4.  TOP COAT  Apply one layer of your chosen top coat to each nail and cure in an LED Lamp for 30 sec - 1min or a UV Lamp for 2mins.

 - If using the STANDARD TOP COAT, the nails will need to be cleansed of the tacky layer that is left behind after curing.  Wipe over each nail with a lint free wipe and 99% Isopropyl alcohol. 

 - If using the NO WIPE TOP COAT and after curing it still feels a little sticky, re cure for another 30sec - 1min and let cool before touching it. 

Step 5. CUTICLE OIL  Apply cuticle oil to the cuticle area of each finger and gently massage in.
