What you will need:
Step 1. Prep the nails - File, shape, push back the cuticles and cleanse and dehydrate the nails. Apply Tips if using them.
Step 2. Apply a layer of Polygel Base Coat to the nails and cure.
Step 3. Squeeze a small amount of Polygel from the tube and slice it off with Spatula Tool.
TIP: Squeeze the Polygel tubes from the base only. If you squeeze them from the middle or top, you risk popping the seal open at the end of the tube.
Step 4. Half fill a dappen dish with 70% Isopropyl Alcohol. Dip the brush side of the tool into the Isopropyl Alcohol and blot off the excess onto paper towel. ( You only need a small amount)
Step 5. Using the brush, gently move and press the polygel into shape on the nails and cure. Apply a second layer to achieve the correct thickness and cure.
TIP: When working on a client, you can work on all the nails one one hand and cure. Or alternate between hands. When a finger is curing on the left hand, you work on a finger on the right hand. And vice-versa till all the nails are complete.
Apply the polygel to one finger on the left hand and cure. While the left hand is in the lamp, apply the polygel to one finger on the right and then cure.
If the polygel becomes too sticky to move around, you will need more liquid.
Step 6. Wipe away the tacky layer with Isopropyl Alcohol.
Step 7. File and shape the nails.
Step 8. You can now paint your favourite colour of D&G HEMA Free Gel Polish or finish with Top Coat.
